The Silverado PPV, Explained
A pursuit-rated pickup, factory built. The 355 hp 5.3L V8 pairs with six piston Brembo front brakes, Z71 off road suspension, police specific tires, and a crew cab that upfits like a patrol car because GM designed it to be one.
Duty grade in the details. A 220 amp alternator, five factory upfitter switches, a certified speedometer, heavy duty air filtration, a column shifter that frees the console, and a 5 foot 8 inch bed with twelve tie downs for the gear that never fits in an SUV.

Silverado PPV or F-150 Police Responder?
Both are pursuit rated pickups. The Silverado brings the V8, Brembo six piston fronts, and GM electronics; the F-150 Responder counters with the 400 hp EcoBoost and FX4 package. We stock both, so the tiebreaker is your duty cycle and your mechanics’ preference, not availability.
Why would a department choose a truck over an SUV?
