The F-150 Responder, Explained
The original pursuit-rated pickup. 400 hp and 500 lb-ft from the high output 3.5L EcoBoost, a 120 mph top speed, and a Police Mode transmission calibration, validated in Michigan State Police and LA County Sheriff testing.
Built for where rural patrol actually happens. The standard FX4 package brings skid plates, off road shocks, and torque on demand 4WD. Inside: bolstered seats with intrusion plates, Police Engine Idle, and a console pre configured for upfitting.

F-150 Responder or Silverado PPV?
The two pursuit rated pickups on the market. The Responder brings 400 turbocharged horses and the FX4 package; the Silverado PPV answers with V8 simplicity and Brembo six piston fronts. We stock both and will give you a straight comparison for your duty cycle.
What makes it different from a retail F-150?
Pursuit tested brakes, cooling, and stability calibration, a certified speedometer, police interior hardware, upfit ready electrical architecture, and a drivetrain tuned for aggressive driving. A retail truck with a lightbar is a liability wearing a costume.
Can it still tow like a truck?
Yes. Add the tow package and it pulls up to 11,200 lbs, which is why marine patrols and mounted units love it. It runs code to the boat launch, then launches the boat.
