Replacing Your
Charger?
Searching for a Dodge Charger Pursuit for sale? Here is the straight answer.
2023 Charger Pursuits are sold out. 2023 was the final model year for the Charger Pursuit sedan, and inventory is gone industry-wide. Listings suggesting otherwise are selling a wait, not a car.
A 2027 Charger is announced, not orderable. Dodge has announced a new Charger for 2027, but agencies cannot order one yet. We will publish ordering details the day that changes.
The Durango Pursuit is the Dodge you can order today. Same Hemi V8 option, same pursuit rating, AWD standard, and room the sedan never had. Need units fast? Rapid Deployment Durangos are ready to be built now from in-stock equipment.
The Durango Pursuit, Explained
The muscle car of pursuit-rated SUVs. The only police vehicle left where you can still order a Hemi V8. Retail Durangos dropped the V6 for 2026; the Pursuit kept both, so you choose the efficient 3.6L Pentastar or the 360 hp 5.7L Hemi with 7,200 lbs of towing. AWD is standard either way.
Laid out for the 12-hour shift. A dash mounted shifter surrenders the entire console to equipment, seats are cut for duty belts, three zone climate keeps a K9 comfortable, and standard stealth mode blacks out the vehicle instantly. Heavy duty brakes and cooling carry the pursuit rating.
Stocked and delivered nationwide. FountFleet stocks Durango Pursuits from our own allocation, upfits them with labeled wiring, and ships them anywhere in the country with a lifetime warranty and published lead times.

Durango Pursuit Questions, Answered
Hemi V8 or Pentastar V6?
The V6 patrols efficiently and costs less to feed. The Hemi tows, accelerates, and sounds like a police vehicle should. K9 and rural units usually justify the V8; city patrol often does not. We will run your duty cycle math with you, no upsell.
Can I still buy a Dodge Charger Pursuit?
No. 2023 was the final model year for the Charger Pursuit, and inventory is sold out industry-wide. A 2027 Charger has been announced but is not yet orderable. The Durango Pursuit is the pursuit rated Dodge you can order today, and Charger agencies find the transition easy: Hemi option, AWD standard, and more room than the sedan ever had.
Why do K9 units love the Durango?
Three zone climate protects the dog, the cargo area fits inserts cleanly, and AWD gets the team anywhere a call goes. Add our heat alarm and door popper install, wired and labeled, and it is the best K9 platform per dollar on the market.
Durango Pursuit vs Tahoe PPV?
The Durango costs meaningfully less, keeps a V8 option, and drives smaller. The Tahoe PPV offers more space and a heavier duty platform. Half our agencies split the fleet and run both. Since we stock both, you can too.
Are Durango Pursuits available right now?
Yes. FountFleet buys allocation every cycle, so in stock units are available for upfit and delivery now, at pricing that makes the Tahoe line nervous. See our published lead times.
Pentastar or Hemi, spec your Durango in plain English and see one itemized quote.
