What is the difference between the Tahoe PPV and SSV?
The PPV is pursuit rated: lowered, stiffened, and braked for high speed work. The Tahoe SSV keeps the standard ride height and adds police durability without the pursuit rating, which makes it the pick for K9, command, and off road roles. Patrol runs the PPV.
Should we order 2WD or 4WD?
Snow states and rural counties should take the 4WD and its two speed transfer case. Highway and city patrol in mild climates can save the difference with 2WD and spend it on equipment. Both share the same V8 and pursuit rating.
