What “Ready to Be Built Now”
Actually Means.
The sourcing already happened. A Rapid Deployment vehicle is a new police vehicle we already own, matched to a standardized equipment package sitting on our shelves. Your PO starts the build immediately; the finished unit is on your lot in weeks.
One battle-tested package. Whelen lighting with CenCom Core control, Havis console, Pro-gard prisoner containment, and labeled FountHarness wiring underneath it all. We standardized on parts that hold up, and stocking them deep is what makes zero equipment lead time possible.
Radios and graphics, your way. Most agencies have their own, so we leave those open. Want us to handle them? We install customer-supplied radios and apply your agency graphics before the vehicle leaves the building.
Rapid Deployment Questions, Answered.
How fast is “rapid,” really?
The chassis is in stock and every part is on the shelf, so the build starts the moment your paperwork clears. No equipment lead time, no sourcing delay, just a scheduled bay. Most units deliver in weeks, not months. See current lead times for comparison.
Is a standardized package a compromise?
It is a trade: you give up custom equipment choices and get speed, volume pricing, and a package we have refined over hundreds of builds. The install quality and the lifetime warranty are identical to our custom work.
These are police cars for sale with lights and sirens included?
Correct. The price on the spec sheet includes the vehicle and the complete emergency equipment package, installed, programmed, and inspected before delivery. One number. No “plus upfitting” surprise on page four.
Can we use year-end budget funds on a Rapid Deployment unit?
That is what the program is for. Every unit has a complete itemized price you can put in front of your board today, our cooperative contracts let most agencies skip the bid, and financing can bundle it into one payment. Send the PO to [email protected] before the money walks.
Can we see exactly what is on the vehicle before we buy?
Every unit has a downloadable spec sheet with each part itemized, pictured, and priced. Your council or command staff sees the whole build before a dollar moves.
Need Something
Custom?
If your spec can wait for our published 30 to 40 business day schedule, a custom build gets your department exactly the equipment it wants, with the same warranty and the same inspections.
