Buying a Police Vehicle,
Minus the Wait.
One source, one quote. The vehicle, the equipment, the upfit, and the delivery on a single itemized quote, with a lifetime warranty on every build. Departments in 49 states buy this way.
The chassis at our cost. The vehicle itself is sold at our cost plus a flat $500 admin fee. We earn our living on the build, not the markup.
Availability, engineered. We buy factory allocations early and back them with a national dealer network. A totaled cruiser does not care what month it is. Neither do our allocations.
1. Pick Your Unit
Choose an in-stock vehicle above, or configure a custom build online with instant itemized pricing. No email gate. No waiting three weeks for a quote.
2. Issue Your PO
Buy through BuyBoard or COSTARS, use financing, or run your standard process. Our bid team handles the paperwork either way.
3. Take Delivery
We upfit, inspect, and deliver to your door. Lights programmed, wiring labeled, warranty active.
Police Vehicle Questions, Answered.
How does FountFleet have police vehicles in stock year round?
We buy factory allocations early and often, then back them with a dealer network that can source through virtually any dealership in the nation. In the rare case a unit is not immediately on hand, we have located vehicles already on order to keep the wait minimal. It has worked in 49 states so far.
Can civilians buy a police vehicle from FountFleet?
Usually no. These vehicles are priced and intended for government, so at minimum a buyer needs an OEM fleet number to purchase. If you are a security company or licensed agency with fleet credentials, contact us and we will walk you through what is possible.
What is the difference between a PPV and an SSV?
A PPV (Police Pursuit Vehicle) is pursuit rated: tested for high-speed driving with upgraded brakes, cooling, and suspension. An SSV (Special Service Vehicle) carries police equipment and durability but is not rated for pursuit. K9, command, and support roles usually run SSVs.
Do these come with lights and sirens installed?
Your call. Buy the chassis and configure a custom upfit, or choose a Rapid Deployment unit, ready to be built now with lights, siren, console, and partition from in-stock equipment. Either way, the upfit carries our lifetime warranty.
How fast can my department get a vehicle?
Rapid Deployment units skip the equipment wait entirely and deliver in weeks. Custom builds on in-stock chassis run on a published schedule of 30 to 40 business days, with live build photos the whole way. See our current lead times.
Do you sell used police cars?
We sell new vehicles. A used cruiser can look like a bargain until you inherit 4,000 idle hours and someone else’s wiring. If budget is the issue, ask about municipal leasing: new vehicle, lifetime warranty, annual payments.
