The F-350 Chassis Cab, Explained

The default answer for a service body. FountFleet stocks the 2027 F-350 Chassis Cab the way fleets actually order it: 4×4, dual rear wheels, XL or XLT trim, ready for a 9 foot body. Choose the 7.3L gas V8 for low cost simplicity or the 6.7L Power Stroke for towing muscle.

The easiest platform in the class to build on. Flat frame rails and six factory upfitter switches. We mount aluminum or stainless service bodies, dumps, and platforms, wire everything through labeled FountHarness circuits, and undercoat the whole assembly before it ships, because rust is a choice and we decline.

Regular cab or crew cab, always finished. Regular cab keeps the wheelbase tight for urban routes; crew cab moves the whole team. Either way it arrives turn key with Ford Pro telematics live and our lifetime warranty on the build, on published lead times.

F-350 Chassis Questions, Answered

Why DRW on every unit?

Dual rear wheels keep a loaded service body planted, especially with a crane swinging off the corner. Fleets that skimp to single rear wheels on chassis cabs usually meet their mistake at the first full load of sand.

Gas or diesel for a service truck?

Most 9 foot service body trucks live happy lives on the 7.3L gas V8: cheaper to buy, cheaper to fix, no DEF. Buy the Power Stroke when the truck tows a backhoe, not to impress the fuel island.

Can you match our existing fleet spec?

Yes. Send us your current spec sheet and we will match bodies, compartments, and lighting so truck 14 works exactly like truck 4. Consistency is cheaper than retraining.

How fast can we get one?

Our chassis come through secured allocations and our bodies are sourced ahead, so turn key delivery typically runs weeks, with your build slot and progress photos visible in the portal from day one. Published lead times here.
